WORKING GROUPS

Want to become involved in helping plan and organize engaging and collaborative workshops that brings together industry leaders on asset management to present at our workshops. Join us in attending our monthly working group meetings where we brainstorm, identify and connect with speakers and create the workshop program. It is also a great way to become more connected with asset management practitioners in Alberta.

The Working Group’s membership consists of organizations representing local governments and other interested agencies with the goal to create the tri-annual workshop programs. The workshop programs typically consists of between 4-6 speakers with a varying format consisting of presentations, facilitated discussions, facilitated activities, case studies, panel discussions and networking breaks. The presentations touch on varying asset management topics, infrastructure, and community sizes to ensure there are learning opportunities for attendees from all sizes of communities, job activities, and experience. Each workshop typically hosts anywhere between 50-100 attendees.

The working group facilitates meetings once a month to discuss the latest trends in asset management, recently completed projects that could be leveraged as learning opportunities, or solutions to current asset management challenges that could be of particular interest to our attendees. Participation in the working group is voluntary however attending is encouraged to leverage the best ideas to ensure the success of future workshops.
